A fascinating down to earth look at the central Illinois scene of
gardening, beautifully photographed, with bees, hummingbirds and rabbits
receiving close-ups along with the flowers.
Harvey focuses on a variety of scenes.

Take a tour through a half dozen gardens, ranging from a Japanese-style
garden to one with a Mexican flare to another inspired by the English gardens
of Sissinghurst. In UNEARTHED: GARDEN
STORIES, each gardener imparts home-spun wisdom, tells stories of family
history, and shares the sources of creative inspiration, revealing a close
emotional connection to their gardens and to the land.
As a bonus feature, enjoy a musical tour through Stoneridge, William Block’s
outstanding private sculpture garden. It
features “Dancing Faun”, an Italian bronze copy of the original found in
Pompeii, and works by Nita Sunderland and Derek Wernher. The tour ends on a pair of ornate iron gates
from the original First National Bank Building of Peoria.
